Territory Operations Manager, QLD
About the Role
An opportunity has arisen at Drivetrain based at our Mackay, QLD location for a Territory Operations Manager to join the team on a full-time basis. Reporting directly to the General Manager, this role will be responsible for ensuring that the function of Operations is executed effectively and efficiently, meeting the expectations of both customers and the Company. This is a pivotal territory role with a dual-site remit: you will lead the Mackay team while directly overseeing and streamlining operations at our Mount Isa branch
How You Will Drive Success:
- Commercial Performance: Take full ownership of Sales, Gross Profit, and Opex budgets to ensure the territory's financial health and growth.
- Operational Excellence: Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of Sales and Purchase Orders, ensuring seamless execution from workshop to customer.
- Inventory & Asset Strategy: Manage inventory categories and production orders with precision, hitting monthly and yearly KPI targets.
- Technical Integrity: Review and sign off on branch technical reports, upholding Drivetrain’s reputation for quality and reliability.
- People Leadership: Actively mentor and develop our Service Technicians, fostering a culture of safety, skill, and accountability.
- Strategic Growth: Cultivate lasting customer relationships and identify emerging business opportunities across the Mackay and Mount Isa regions.
Key Accountabilities:
- Strategic Execution: Contribute to and implement the national operations plan, ensuring local activities align with global business goals.
- Target Delivery: Consistently hit branch sales targets and operational KPIs across the territory.
- Process Innovation: Continuously look for ways to streamline workflows between Mackay and Mount Isa to improve service speed and quality.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have the following:
Essential:
- Intermediate skills with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Desirable:
- SAP experience or other ERP systems.
- Customer Relationship Management Software
