Production Planner
About the Role
This role will report to Service Delivery Manager.
Key Responsibilities of this role include:
- Lead by example in promoting and continuously improving workplace safety culture.
- Maintain regular communication with customers to understand daily and weekly demand requirements and provide timely updates.
- Work closely with the on-site management team to identify and address potential production issues that may impact delivery commitments.
- Identify gaps in service capability and escalate issues where appropriate.
- Create and manage work orders to support site operations.
- Process timesheets and manage job hour allocation.
- Generate customer invoices and raise purchase orders as required.Assist with the preparation of customer quotations.
- Support HR administration and coordinate training requirements.Arrange travel and accommodation for site personnel when required.
- Develop and manage production schedules to meet customer demand while maximising resource utilisation and minimising delays.
- Collaborate with Supply Chain to develop and maintain BOMs, monitor material availability and capacity, and forecast parts requirements.
- Monitor production performance against schedules, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure materials are available to support production while minimising waste and inventory holding costs.
- Analyse production data and develop reporting tools to drive continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
- Prepare and present reports on production output, efficiency, and costs for management review.
About You
Essential Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
• Technical and Industry Knowledge
• Intermediate Microsoft office skills
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
Desirable Knowledge, Skills and Experiences:
• Trade qualification is desirable
• SAP experience is desirable
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently
