About the Role

Gemco Rail are currently have an exciting opportunity for a skilled Boilermaker to join our team on a casual basis. Based in Telarah, this hands-on role focuses on the assessment, preparation, and repair of rolling stock, as well as the overhaul and maintenance of wheelset bogies and other rail units as required. 

 

This role will report to Workshop & Saftey Supervisor and collaborates closely with the Telerah Team.

About You

Essential Knowledge, Skills and Experience: 

  • National relevant Trade Qualifications.
  • C Class Drivers Licence.
  • Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety Regulations.
  • Sound general engineering knowledge.
  • Ability to work unsupervised and adhere to strict deadlines.
  • Able to perform general fitting duties.

 

Desirable Knowledge, Skills and Experiences: 

  • Previous experience in the rail industry.
  • National High Risk Work Licence – Forklift.
